For Moldovans, Romanians, Russians, Ukrainians, and Serbs who still respect old traditions, the New Year is celebrated on the night between the 13th and 14th of January. This date was set according to the the Julian and Gregorian calendars. Each country has its own interesting traditions that people perform and celebrate during this night.
